This Gospel is the only gift that keeps on giving because it opens your life up to the miracle-working grace of God from the day you receive it and for all of eternity.

That opening line is the sermon in a sentence. I’m convinced that there is no basis for the presumption that everyone has clearly understood the Gospel. To that end, I occasionally preach a basic salvation message.

Everything you want might not be placed under a tree this year, but Jesus Christ hung on a tree so you could receive what you need; the free gift of salvation.
