Who Am I?

Since you’re here, you might as well learn something about me. My name is William, and the most accurate description that I strive for is a servant of God. I’m a husband to Lisa, a father of three children, and a pastor to many.

At the end of my days, it will be enough if others can say that I was faithful. Between now and then, I want to live a simple life with no room for drama, spare rooms for more grace, and compassion for broken people.

Since 1991, Lisa has been the beauty I’ve been beholding.
She’s a godly wife and a beautiful mother to our family. My Alabama Belle is close enough to perfect for me. She’s made me a better man as we have grown together through marriage, parenthood, and ministry. I’m more in love with her today than when we first met.

We’ve been given to the ministry since 1994.
Of course, this servanthood has grown and developed over time. At my core, I’m a pastor. God has called me to serve as Lead Pastor of Harvest Christian Center in Cantonment, Florida. This places us in the beautiful Gulf Coast region of northwest Florida. Immediately prior, I spent seven years as Mission USA Administrator, traveling the southeast and keeping office hours in Griffin, Georgia. And before that call, I spent twelve consecutive years as a bivocational pastor in the scenic foothills of Calhoun County, Alabama.

  1. I love your Who I am Page. It looks like you’ve been doing this a little longer than I. It’s funny, so many of us claim to be introverts. Perhaps, this is our one way to really be out there, huh? Thanks for visiting my post.
